THE RED BOATHOUSE 01

In the red boathouse, “rødnaustet”,  you can find fishing gear and equipment from the fishing station.

The red boathouse, built before 1877, is the oldest remaining building in Nusfjord. The logs in the building are notched and secured with wooden pegs.  The house was originally used as storage for fishing equipment and small boats, as well as a place to process lumber from the saw mill next door. next>>
