THE GENERAL STORE 01

The General Store, built in 1907, still had the original furnishings, with shelves, cupboards, benches and drawers still in tact. There is also a large assortment of advertising posters and store items of historical interest.  The store has also has everything in groceries, fishing equipment, and souvenirs.  Traditionally, the General Store was the gathering place for Nusfjord’s residents.  It was here they met to do their daily shopping, get their mail, or just have a chat.
